Oklahoma State in the rankings

The Cowboys continue their trek to the top of the nation after week five.

Alonzo Adams-USA TODAY Sports

Oklahoma State pulled out one of the more exciting wins in Stillwater since the 2013 Baylor game this weekend against Kansas State. After the 36-34 win, the Cowboys will turn their head toward the West Virginia Mountaineers who are not ranked after losing to now No. 9 Oklahoma on Saturday.

The Cowboys will remain at No. 19 this week and be jumped by Stanford. Other Big 12 teams in the polls are No. 2 TCU, No. 9 OU and No. 4 Baylor.

This post will be updated with the AP Poll when released.
