As Al Davis once said, "Just win, baby!" That's sort of been the motto for Oklahoma State fans at some levels this season, as the team is sitting not-so-pretty at 5-0 after two straight game-winning kicks by Ben Grogan.
It doesn't matter that Rudolph is sixth in the nation in passing yards or Ogbah and the defense are a force to be reckon with in some minds, because the first lost could happen at any time. But let's not focus on that. Let's take a look at where OSU is now in the national championship odds.
Thankfully as a team, the Cowboys are rising. Despite falling a spot in the AP Top 25 Poll on Sunday, they've risen their odds from 50/1 to 35/1. Rudolph fell of the Heisman odds board last week after a terrible game at Texas, but should he continue to have games like last week and eliminate some key turnovers, there's no reason to think he won't be back next year.
