After an 8-0 start, many Cowboy fans are still saying, "we'll know more next week." It's sort of true. Although the Cowboys are 8-0, the best teams they've played aren't really that great, with Texas Tech being the best at 5-4. TCU comes to Stillwater next week for a top 10 match up between two of the conferences best four teams.
Now that the AP Poll is out we can analyze it a little. Not much has changed. The 70-point outing from the OSU offense wasn't enough to bump them over Iowa, who beat Maryland 31-15 (yes, the same Maryland who lost to WVU 45-6) or Florida, who won 27-3 over Georgia.
This is sort of weird.
