Oklahoma State defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah. You can't talk about the defense without at least mentioning his name.
Ogbah has nine sacks, two forced fumbles and so many tackles for loss, it's ridiculous. So ridiculous, he was left off the Lombardi award because it's obviously not fair enough.
Emmanuel Ogbah Stats:
Nine sacks
13.5 TFL
Two FF
43 Tackles
15 QB Hurries
Two pass breakups
They are good enough however, for the Lott IMPACT Trophy. Earlier today, Ogbah was announced as a finalist for the award that will be handed out in December. Here's a little of what the website says about the award:
The Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation will make a $25,000 donation to the general scholarship fund of the winner's university and $5,000 to each of the schools of the runner-ups. In 10 years, the Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation has now donated more than $1.1 million, including over $500,000 to universities throughout the country.
