Oklahoma State finished its three game home stand with a victory over SIU Edwardsville, 86-61, to move to 3-0 this season.

Sophomore Kaylee Jensen helped put 11 points on the board for the Cowgirls in the first quarter before SIU Edwardsville outscored the Cowgirls 22-18 to close the first half. The Cowgirls held a 40-35 lead heading into the locker room.

At the start of the second half, OSU didn't show any sign of struggle as Senior Brittney Martin scored 12 points in the third quarter to help take the lead 64-45. Martin (24-8) and Jensen (23-8) combined for 47 points and 16 rebounds, along with Kaylee's three blocks, to help the Cowgirls pull a way for the win.

Martin became the sixth Cowgirl player in program history with 800 career rebounds. Sophomore Mandy Coleman also added eight rebounds, four blocks and a career-high five assists. Freshman standout Karli Wheeler posted a career-high 13 points.

OSU wore the Nike N7 turquoise jerseys to celebrate Native American Heritage Month in front of a crowd of 2,286 fans inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The Cowgirls now prepare for their first away game of the season as they travel to Missouri State on Monday night.
