Chris Olivier Captures Big 12 Newcomer of The Week

The Big 12 released this weeks honors for men's basketball and Senior Forward Chris Olivier received the Big 12 newcomer of the week.

Last week in four games, Olivier averaged 15.3 points and four rebounds and carried the Cowboys to a 3-1 record in those games. Olivier has scored in double figures and shot 50 percent or better in all four contests. Also, he converted 15-of-21 (.714) from the free throw line, two assists and had 13 blocked shots.

Chris Olivier is a senior transfer from Eastern Illinois, originally from Chicago, Illinois, and attended high school at Ouakerdale Prep.
