Why OSU Will Beat OU

ITS BEDLAM TIME, SUCKAS.

Rob Ferguson-USA TODAY Sports

So for the first time all season, I was wrong in my weekly game predictions. But last week was a fluke! I'm back and the koolaid is stronger than ever! The Oklahoma State Cowboys may have suffered a set back but it won't slow them down this week.

Despite a low completion percentage, Mason Rudolph still passed for over 400 yards despite the fact that they had no balanced attack.  He managed to distribute the ball well and keep the game from getting really ugly really fast.

And now the 'Boys prepare to face the #3 Oklahoma Sooners in the annual Bedlam series and boy has it been exciting the last couple of years.  With both teams splitting the series 2-2 over the last 4 years, the stakes couldn't be any high with the fate of the Big 12 setting in Stillwater this weekend.

OU struggled at times with Baylor's pass rush and now a bruised and battered O-Line will have to line up and figure out how to save Baker Mayfield from being devoured by All-American candidate Emmanuel Ogbah. At the same time, an extremely shallow wide receiver pool will have to test its luck against an extremely deep secondary corps.

On the other side of the ball, a bang-or-bust secondary must try to figure out how to contain a receivers group that runs a solid 8 deep with each player have a very unique skill set.  Plus they'll have to figure out what is in Gundy's bag of tricks to getting the running game going. Will we see J.W. Walsh and Rudolph in the same backfield? I dunno,  maybe? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Get ready, Cowboys fans, its gunna be a wild one in Stillwater and you will not want to miss out.
