Today has been a really good day for Oklahoma State football. First Baylor lost to Texas, which almost certainly puts Oklahoma State in the Sugar Bowl. And now it seems the Cowboys will have Mason Rudolph for that game.
Head coach Mike Gundy told Tulsa World sports writer Bill Haisten "I’m confident (that Rudolph will start in the bowl game.) I feel good about it."
Rudolph, who suffered an apparent fractured foot on November 21st in a loss to Baylor, had surgery the Monday after the Pokes Beldam loss the following week. Dual threat quarterback J.W. Walsh started in the place of the injured Rudolph and preformed admirably, but with Rudolph under center, the Cowboys are a much more explosive team.
If all goes as planned, Oklahoma State will face Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl and Rudolph will be the starter.
