Cowgirls Fall to Eagles in First Round

In the opening round of the NCAA tournament, the FGCU Eagles took down the Oklahoma State Cowgirls 75-67 on Saturday afternoon at the Donald L. Tucker Center.
Junior Roddricka Patton led all Cowgirls in scoring, finishing the contest with a career-high 23 points. Senior Liz Donohoe also contributed 14 points in her last game as a Cowgirl.
The Cowgirls, who came in as the tenth seed, drop to 20-12 on the season. Still, the Cowgirls finished the season with 20+ wins in four straight years, which is a program first.
