Former Cowboy Called up to Majors
Former Cowboy standout Scott Baker has played well in his last three games for the OKC Dodgers, and per a report by beat writer Bill Plunkett, Baker will be called up in time for the LA Dodgers' series against the San Diego Padres.
Baker, who was at OSU from 2001-2002, was a second-team All-Big 12 pick his sophomore year. In 2003, he was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the second round of the amateur entry draft. He signed a minor league contract this month with the Dodgers and will make his LA debut this Sunday in San Diego.
