Cowboy pitcher Michael Freeman has been selected as one of the 35 semifinalists for this year's Dick Howser Trophy, as announced by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
The Dick Howser Trophy is awarded to the top player in collegiate baseball. Oklahoma State has had only one past Howser Trophy winner in its history, with Robin Ventura claiming the award in 1988.
