Will Marcus Smart be Traded?

The Boston Celtics are considering trading former Oklahoma State guard Marcus Smart in pursuit of a higher draft pick, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.

The former sixth overall pick has already been included in a trade proposal, as the Celtics reportedly offered Philadelphia a package deal that would give the 76ers Smart, Kelly Olynyk, an unspecified third player and a No. 16 pick for Nerlens Noel and their No. 3 pick.

In his rookie season, Smart averaged 7.8 PPG, 3.3 RPG and 3.1 APG; Smart also received NBA All-Rookie Second Team honors in his first season.
