Earlier today, head coach Mike Gundy announced that Blake Jarwin, Chad Whitener and Brad Lundblade have been placed on scholarship.
1 of the greatest joys as a coach is putting walk-ons on scholarship. Got to do that today. http://t.co/jSE6h6QJI5 pic.twitter.com/zV6D4DR4fh

Junior tight end Blake Jarwin saw increased production last year. After not playing a lot his redshirt freshman season, the Tuttle native hauled in five receptions for 107 yards and a touchdown in 2014. With the new emphasis on the "Cowboy back" under position coach Jason McEndoo, Jarwin's production and on-the-field impact will only increase from here.
Linebacker Chad Whitener played his freshman season for the University of California in 2013 before transferring to Oklahoma State the following year. At Cal, Whitener recorded six total tackles, one tackle for loss and one fumble recovery. The redshirt sophomore comes into the 2015 season ready to contribute on both defense and special teams.
Finally, offensive lineman Brad Lundblade. The Argyle alum reportedly had 10 Division-I offers coming out of high school, but chose to join Oklahoma State as a walk-on. The true freshman began the season low on the depth chart, but found himself as the Cowboys' starting center for the second half of the season. Lundblade goes into Fall camp as a valuable asset to the Cowboys' offensive line.
