So week two and a victory over FCS University of Central Arkansas is behind us (thank God). Given that it was against and FCS school and a rather vanilla game there is a limited amount of options on the poll this week. Who was the player of the game for the Cowboys in Week two?
Mason Rudolph: The sophomore quarterback struggled a bit in the first half before stringing together a nice 7/9 194 (yards) 2 TD line in the last two quarters. He finished with his first 400 yard game as a Cowboy and it's encouraging that he figured out what was ailing him in the first half and made the correct adjustment. By the way, if this were a Hair of The Game Poll it would be between him and the next guy for the award.
Game Stats: 23/35 for 401 yards and two touchdowns and one interception
David Glidden: The Mustang Bronco alum put up his highest receiving yards ever as a Cowboy. He seemingly showed up again when the Cowboys needed a big play. His 67-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter was a nice boost for Rudolph and the offense.
Game Stats: four catches for 145 yards and two touchdowns.
Emmanuel Ogbah: Ogbah was a major mismatch for the Central Arkansas offensive line. How about these fun stats: Three uarterback hurries, two tackles for loss and a sack. Ogbah and the defense looks like it could be a pretty special group.
Game Stats: Seven tackles, three quarterback hurries, two tackles for loss, one sack and a bruised and battered UCA offensive line.
So that's it for this weeks Player of The Game nominees, who was your player of the game?
