COLLEGE FOOTBALL OPEN GAMETHREAD: Oklahoma State at Texas

The Cowboys and Longhorns inaugurate Big 12 conference play for 2015.

Not a heavy schedule for the Big 12 today, with three teams getting a bye for the 2nd consecutive week. However, with 4 teams opening conference play, there are only 5 games. Don't worry, two fewer games is way overridden by the intrigue of the conference matchups.

The schedule for today, all times Eastern:

  • Kansas at Rutgers -14 O/U 64...12pm on BTN (Big Ten Network)
Maybe the Jayhawks can muster up a fight? Rutgers coaches and players make Baylor look like choir boys...
  • Rice at Baylor -33.5 O/U 74.5...3pm on FSN
Last easy tune up for the Bears.
  • Maryland at West Virginia - 16.5 O/U 57...3pm on FS1
Don't think we'll learn much of anything about the Mountaineers, as the Terrapins are terrible.
  • OSU -3 at Texas O/U 60.5...3:30pm on ESPN
Oooooooh boy. All outcomes are possible...could be a classic game, could be a blowout either way, could be a tight, but ugly game. Who the hell knows.
  • TCU -6 at Texas Tech O/U 84...4:45pm on FOX
The O/U has finally moved to a more reasonable number. This should be a crazy shootout.
