Cowboy Commits in Action

There were a handful of future Pokes that put up big performances this weekend.

RB Justice Hill

It didn't take Tulsa Washington running back Justice Hill very long to get the party started against Ponca City Friday night. On the first play of the game Hill got the hand-off and quickly raced down the field 74 yards for a score, which seet the tone early. Justice finished the game with 230 yards on 13 carries and 5 touchdowns according to Ponca City News, as Tulsa Washington defeated Ponca City 68-7. QB Nick Starkel

Starkel continued to improve for Liberty Christian, as he completed 10 of 23 passes for 151 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 20-0 win over Fort Worth Nolan.

CB AJ Green and RB LaDarren Brown

Desoto steamrolled Grand Prairie 60-3 Friday night. AJ Green finished with 3 tackles (1 solo) and 2 pass deflections. On the year, Green has tallied 17 total tackles, 11 pass deflections and an interception. LaDarren Brown added 10 yards on 4 carries, giving him a total of 357 yards on 54 carries and 7 touchdowns on the year.

CB Rodarius Williams

Williams played well Friday night, finishing with 7 tackles (5 total) giving him 18 total tackles through 4 games. Rodarius also hauled in a  huge reception for 41 yards, as Calvary Baptist defeated Zachary 42-28. The game was televised nationally on ESPN U, and several big recruits were on display.

CB Madre Harper

Harper had a solid outing Friday night, totaling 8 total tackles (5 solo).  However, his team failed to get the win, falling to Martin 24-52. For the season, Martin has tallied 20 tackles and an interception through 4 games.

Commits Pumped After Win Over UT

As the Cowboys pulled off their victory over Texas on Saturday, several future Pokes took to Twitter to express their excitement.
