After another week of dominating performances, senior All-American Brittney Martin received this week's Big 12 Player of The Week. This season, Martin has received seven player of the week honors.

Martin had back-to-back double-doubles with last week's victories against Iowa State and Kansas. During the Iowa State game, Martin helped the Cowgirls beat the Cyclones with her 26 points and 14 rebounds. Not only has she shined on offense, but she has also put on a defensive performance with two steals and a block. On the road in Lawrence, Kansas, Martin put on another dominating performance with 24 points, 17 rebounds and three steals. Martin had a double-double before halftime with 10 points and extended her double-double streak to five-consecutive games. Martin has helped her Cowgirls to a current record of 15-4 overall and a conference record of 5-3.

This week's Big 12 Player of The Week is Martin's seventh of the year and No. 12 in her career.

Martin and the Cowgirls will look to take on TCU on Jan. 30 at 7:00 p.m. in Gallagher Iba Arena.
