Marcus Smart, former Oklahoma State guard and current member of the Boston Celtics, has been selected to play in this year's Rising Stars Challenge.

Smart, who will play for the sophomore team, averaged 9.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. He recently earned his first triple double against Phoenix in mid-January.

The game will be televised at 8 p.m. Friday on TNT.
