OSU Men’s Basketball Picked 7th in Big 12 Preseason Poll

College basketball season is just a couple weeks away, which means preseason predictions are coming out. This afternoon the Big 12 released their preseason poll and the Cowboys came in at #7.

Oklahoma State and Texas Tech landed in a tie for 7th with 32 votes a piece. Unsurprisingly, Kansas was a unanimous selection to win the conference. This is the 5th consecutive year for the Jayhawks to be selected as preseason champions.

After the Cowboys poor conference record last year of 3-15, good for 9th in the conference, the 7th place ranking seems pretty fair.

Big 12 Media Day is scheduled for Tuesday, October 25 in Kansas City. I know we are in the heat of football season right now, but basketball is just right around the corner and I have a feeling it’s going to be the most exciting year we’ve seen in Stillwater in quite some time.
