Mason Rudolph has lowest interception percentage in NCAA vs P5 opponents

An impressive statistic for a QB who’s been nothing short of impressive.

Mason Rudolph is building on the success of his sophomore year with a stellar first half to his junior season. Through six games, Rudolph has thrown for a staggering 2039 yards, 13 touchdowns and just two interceptions.

Rudolph has the lowest interception percentage against Power Five opponents in the country, ahead of DeAndre Francois of Florida State. Looking at all of the quarterbacks that are in the Big 12 and around the country, this is a very impressive statistic for Rudolph. He may not light up the stat column (even though he pretty much has) every weekend, but he’s taking great care of the ball, something that OSU has needed dearly from him.

Impressively, he’s performed this well without one of his top targets, Marcell Ateman. If Ateman returns from injury this season, I’d expect this number to drop even more.
