CBS Ranks Cowboy Basketball #47 Preseason

CBS released its annual ranking of every D1 college basketball team

Out of 351 NCAA D1 Men’s Basketball teams, CBS ranked Oklahoma State was 47th in its 2nd annual rankings that were released today.

Author Matt Norlander seemed to be high on Jawun Evans, as is Coach Underwood.

Last year, CBS ranked the Cowboys at #76. They had a pretty accurate prediction for the Cowboys season.

CBS predicts that the top 10 will be:

1. Duke

2. Kentucky

3. Kansas

4. Villanova

5. Xavier

6. North Carolina

7. Oregon

8. Michigan State

9. Virginia

10. Indiana

With Kansas coming in at #3, let’s check out where the rest of the Big 12 comes in.

17. Texas

24. Iowa State

25. West Virginia

35. Oklahoma

40. Baylor

50. Texas Tech

55. Kansas State

111. TCU

By bringing in Brad Underwood, the Cowboys jump up 29 spots in the preseason rankings, putting us in 7th place for the Big 12. If you need some help getting pumped up for the season, check this out.

In case you were curious, the St. Louis Billikens - led by former OSU coach Travis Ford - are ranked 278th out of 351.
