Mike Gundy held his weekly press conference yesterday. Early on, he was asked about the injured Marcell Ateman. Gundy stated “He’s supposed to start making cuts this week,” when asked about his progress. The same reporter then asked him “Is it possible this late in the year you might just redshirt him?”, to which Gundy responded “We might play him”.
Gundy said "we might play him" when asked about WR Marcel Ateman's status. He started running last week and will make cuts this week

I wrote last week about the idea of redshirting Marcell Ateman if he’s not able to play by the West Virginia game. We’ll see if there’s any progress throughout the week.
Can you imagine how awesome it would be to see #3 trot out on the field this Saturday? I’ll be surprised it it happens, but surprised in a good way. Like this kind of surprised...
