Other things have happened in the past week besides Homecoming - not a lot mind you - but there have been other things. Everyone seems to be suffering from a Homecoming hangover, either that or I’m not perusing social media as much as I used to. For some of the best tweets from Homecoming, click here.
As always, if you have a tweet you want us to consider adding to our tweets of the week, go ahead and tag us in it! Make sure to either tag the main account (@CowboysRFF) or myself (@TDWiederhoeft) so we get your submission. Whether it be a funny tweet, a promotional tweet, a serious tweet, it doesn’t matter. The only rule is it must be related to OSU in some way.
Monday was Halloween. There were plenty of OSU-related costumes out and about.
Best of #okstate Halloween 2016 including one epic Mike Gundy costume. https://t.co/UEqoENDH5P

It wouldn’t surprise me if Vincent Taylor actually was a cyborg.
I love Halloween because we really get to go wild on some of our designs. pic.twitter.com/jJFOXHoH2j

This. I love this.
We embrace it. @OldRowOfficial pic.twitter.com/TRq4RZjmbE

Vincent Taylor is on the verge of breaking his own OSU record when they play Kansas State this Saturday.
With his next sack, @BallOut_96 will have the most in a season for an #okstate interior DL in the Gundy era, passing his own mark from 2015. pic.twitter.com/7w5WtRY5S7

Students now have their own parking lot for basketball games, so that’s exciting!
You asked for it and now you've got it! FREE student parking for @OSUMBB games. Just show your student ID. Carpooling is encouraged #okstate pic.twitter.com/lN5IgRL9SC

Men’s basketball prepared themselves in case they were needed on the football team a la The Longest Yard.
What do you think @CoachGundy? Should we stick to hoops? #okstate pic.twitter.com/nbVivmggbs
— Cowboy Basketball (@OSUMBB) October 31, 2016
Gundy approves.
Keep it up and we might suit you up for the Tech game. Good luck tonight. #GoPokes https://t.co/kWSRUJvxpX

Tuesday night was the exhibition game for men’s basketball, where they soundly defeated Pittsburg State 117-64. For the first time, Coach Brad Underwood walked into Gallagher-Iba Arena to coach the Cowboys - a moment he has been looking forward to since he signed on back in March.

The arena itself was still feeling the effects of Homecoming weekend...
Sooo @matt_fletch about these speakers blocking half of the view from the student section pic.twitter.com/OMeR3QFDgv
— Jonathan Davenport (@Jondave97) November 2, 2016
They are temporary until the upper level speakers are fixed. They went out this weekend. https://t.co/uVbtLtqYHp

I don’t know about you, but I’m glad it is finally here.
We've been promised an "aggressive" defense for 8 years. We finally get to see what it is. #OkState @OSUMBB
— Mike Noteware (@Mike_Noteware) November 2, 2016
In case you were wondering.
Attendance tonight was listed at 3,009. #okstate
— Mark Cooper (@mark_cooperjr) November 2, 2016
People took notice of the new-look Cowboys.
#okstate basketball is going to get good again in a hurry.

Peaking at Oklahoma State. Up 40-10 over Pittsburgh State. Running the "spread offense" made famous by Johnny Orr. Defensive intensity high!
— Fran Fraschilla (@franfraschilla) November 2, 2016
The Cowboys, in Brad Underwood’s first game, broke the all time school record for most points scored (117).
@OSUMBB The previous high was in a 115-91 win over Estonia Club of Canada in 1979 #okstate

Speaking of Trey Reeves, the freshman was actually the one to make the shot to give OSU the record. The bench’s reaction - especially Phil Forte - is absolute gold.
@cowboyvoice The photo of the event is pretty sweet!! @reeves_bryant Love the expressions of his teammates! pic.twitter.com/z4QlsUU2bT

FOX Sports SW+ had some technical difficulties with their scoreboard once the Pokes eclipsed the 100 point mark, forcing them to go the last portion of the game without a scoreboard graphic.
Then the MAC refs took all of Pokes points away ....... pic.twitter.com/FS5CPvw2NB

Then there’s the tweets that just make you laugh. Here are a few of my favorites from this past week.
What @OSUMBB looks like to Pittsburg State, probably #okstate #GoPokes pic.twitter.com/zIGzcB9kA1

Apparently, FSSW+ isn’t included in a lot of TV packages, therefore streaming the game on FoxSportsGo was tough to do.

The Minnesotan in me is squirming because of the weather and the earthquakes. Cannot agree more Zac.
It's 80° in November. There are earthquakes. And the pokes have no night games. Things are not as they should be.

So, what did I miss? Let me know in the comments with a link to the tweet and I’ll do a separate section the following week dedicated to what I missed.
