OSU’s defensive depth may take a hit before Bedlam. According to the Stillwater News Press, Defensive End Cole Walterscheid was arrested and charged with public intoxication on Sunday by the OSU Police Department.
Walterschied’s first court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. in front of Judge R.L. Hert. The 21 year old faces up to a $100 fine or no more than 30 days in jail.
So far OSU has not commented on the arrest. Waltersheid returned to Stillwater Saturday night with the rest of the team following a 31-6 win over TCU. He had two tackles in Saturday’s game. The redshirt Sophomore has played in all 11 of Oklahoma State’s games.
We will continue to follow this story as it develops.
