There were a lot of great plays on Saturday on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. I had plenty to choose from when deciding on this week’s play of the game. For this week, instead of a big touchdown or game changing turnover, I went with what I thought was the most fun play to watch. In other words, my personal favorite play of the game.
It was late in the fourth quarter and the Cowboys had the game wrapped up at 31 - 6. TCU had just turned the ball over on downs, and OSU was looking to run the ball, wrap things up and head back to Stillwater. On 1st and 10 from the TCU 43, Mason Rudolph hands the ball off to Cowboy running back Chris Carson. Carson takes the ball around the left side and decides to use the Madden Hit Stick and absolutely destroy the first TCU defender to enter his path. With the adrenaline flowing, Carson smashes straight through another defender like the Kool Aid man busting through your living room wall.
This play made me jump out of my seat, and in the grand scheme of things, it didn’t matter at all towards the outcome of the game... But, it was awesome! See the the video below.
This week’s honorable mention play has to go to Chris Lacy after another great performance from the junior wide receiver. Here’s his amazing catch in the first quarter.
