USC beat Notre Dame 45-27 on Saturday (mind you this is a 4-8 Notre Dame team so I don’t get it either). As if getting jumped by a three loss team wasn’t bad enough...

While this is all frustrating (and ridiculous), remember this: None of these polls really matter. All that matters is the College Football Playoff (CFP) Poll. That’s where the playoff teams are decided. Those are the rankings the participants of the New Year Six games go off of.
There is still an opportunity for OSU to rise in the poll. USC’s regular season is done. OSU gets Bedlam on Saturday.
OSU’s future is simple: win Bedlam and the Cowboys heading to the Sugar Bowl to face a 4-loss SEC team (LSU, Florida, Auburn, who knows). Lose Bedlam and we’re heading to Alamo Bowl to face either Colorado or USC. (more on potential opponents later this week).
OSU faces OU in Bedlam this Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in Norman.
