On Monday, ESPN head Bracketologist Joe Lunardi had the Cowboys on the outside looking in of the March Madness tournament.
FIRST FOUR OUT: Texas Tech, Utah, Minnesota, Arkansas. NEXT FOUR OUT: Stanford, Seton Hall, Va Tech, BYU. FOUR MORE: OkSt, Pitt, Marq, NW.

In the latest version of Bracketology released earlier today, however, the Cowboys have made their entrance into the coveted March Madness Bracket. That win over powerhouse Rogers State is probably what pushed them into the bracket, right?
If March Madness started today, and Joe Lunardi was the sole bracket maker, the Cowboys would be a #10 seed headed to Orlando to face off with the #7 seeded Cincinnati Bearcats.
The Big 12 will send seven teams to the tournament, according to Lunardi.
EAST:
#2 - Baylor
#6 - West Virginia
WEST:
#10 - Oklahoma
#12 - TCU
SOUTH:
#6 - Iowa State
MIDWEST:
#1 - Kansas
#10 - Oklahoma State
Here’s the full bracket. That South bracket is SCARY GOOD.

It’s still very early, but it’s still nice seeing the Pokes get more and more national recognition. Having struggled through last season, it’s nice to see the impressive turnaround this year with Brad Underwood.
