The Cowboys offered Macon back in June.
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound prospect currently plays inside linebacker for Arizona Western College. This year for the Matadors, Macon accounted for 122 tackles, 27.5 TFLs, nine sacks, nine forced fumbles, and an interception.
Macon has no star ranking per Rivals or 247Sports, but has 3-stars on Scout. In high school he received All-District Honors and was a member of the TWSA All-State team per an article in the Millington Star.
Macon also had offers from Utah State and San Diego State. He is the first ILB commit in Oklahoma State’s 2017 class, and the second linebacker overall. He will fill a need with the retirement of Josh Mabin and Devante Averette graduating this year.
