More good news for Oklahoma State’s freshman phenom running back. Rushing for 1,042 yards and five touchdowns landed Justice Hill on the USA Today Freshman All-American team.
Hill emerged as the No. 1 running back for Oklahoma State after his 122 yard performance at Baylor in week four, and never looked back.
His 1,042 yards are a record for a true freshman at Oklahoma State, surpassing Thurman Thomas’ 843 yards his freshman year in 1984. Hill reached his mark on 199 fewer carries than Thomas.
Hill was chosen as the Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year by the Big 12 coaches, and was the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year by the Associated Press.
The USA Today freshman All-American team is headlined by Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts and Houston defensive tackle Ed Oliver.
