The Big 12 football schedules for all 10 teams were released yesterday, including Oklahoma State’s. That got a lot of people talking, especially on social media. We collected some of the best and most interesting tweets we could find.
First, some people just had some clever (troll) comments regarding OSU’s schedule...
Real salt of the earth move by the Big 12 giving us a bye week before the Championship game pic.twitter.com/iiAlCLqPPC

Just two dates in 2017 that #OKState and OU both host on the same day, 9/2 & 11/25, so every asshole in OK is getting married on of of them.

Has OSU ever had an easier end of the season schedule? I realize Kansas State could be really good, but them, Iowa State, and Kansas to end the season? Wow.
There is still some debate on when Homecoming will be...
It looks like the date that makes the most sense for Homecoming 2017 is Bedlam on Nov. 4th

The last seven seasons, Homecoming has fallen in late October. With OSU playing on the road the last two weekends of the month, they will likely choose between Bedlam on Nov. 4th or an earlier homecoming contest on Oct. 14th against Baylor.
People had plenty to say about Baylor...

Oh, we get Oklahoma to start things off next season in Big 12 play. That'll be awesome.

Welcome to the Big 12, Matt Rhule, here's the defending champion to get things started!

@Big12Conference @BUFootball there are no scheduled court appearances. This can't be right

Baylor and OSU both get a bye-week before facing each other.
Of course someone had to troll Texas about the Kansas loss....

Texas plays USC on Sept. 16th, and the Jayhawks on Nov. 11th.
According to a lot of people, we won’t be avoiding a back-to-back week rematch in the Big 12 championship game afterall...
OU-West Virginia rematch in back to back weeks is inevitable

Big 12 moved Bedlam out of final weekend and replaced it with OU-West Virginia, which means OU-WVU will probably be the Big 12 title game
— Jake Trotter (@Jake_Trotter) December 13, 2016
I tend to agree more with this guy....

Let's stop calling it the Big12 championship game and start calling it the "someone gets a 2nd shot at Oklahoma game"
