Two JUCO Players Name Oklahoma State In The Top Choices

The Cowboys could get some help on defense

NCAA Football: West Virginia at Oklahoma State Rob Ferguson-USA TODAY Sports

On Friday, two junior college football players named Oklahoma State in their final schools.

First up is Corrion Ballard, who has the Cowboys in his top four, along with Nebraska, Texas Tech, and Utah.

Ballard plays safety for Blinn College out of Houston. The sophomore is currently fourth on the team in tackles with 41 to go with five sacks, a forced fumble, and three interceptions. He played wide receiver in High School so you know he’s got some hands.

His move to defense has obviously been a successful one; he was named the Southwest Junior College Football Conference’s co-defensive player of the year this year.

At the moment Ballard is not ranked on any of the recruiting sites, but seems like the kind of “sleeper pick” Gundy and Co. have made well in the pack.

You can check out some highlight’s from the kid here.

The Cowboys were also named in the Top 5 of Defensive End Michael Clemons.

Clemons is a Junior at Cisco Junior College. He’s currently a three start recruit and ranked No. 14 overall on 247Sports. He’s a four-star recruit on Scout.com.

OSU joined Arkansas, Missouri, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M. At the moment, 247Sports is strongly predicted that Clemons will end up at A&M.

Check out a highlight from Clemons.

We will be keeping an eye on both recruits to see what decisions they make.
