It’s a wild time to be an Oklahoma State Cowboys fan, and not in a good way.
On top of all the rumors that OSU Head Coach Mike Gundy is set to meet with Baylor regarding their head coaching position, there is also a report that Defensive Coordinator Glenn Spencer could be talking to Georgia State.
According to a report on GoPokes.com, “sources” claim Spencer spoke with officials at the school regarding their head coaching position.
Trent Miles was fired from Georgia State with two games remaining in the season. Other names being mentioned in connection to the job include Georgia defensive coordinator Mel Tucker and Auburn offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee.
Spencer joined the OSU staff in 2008 as the defensive line coach. He took over the role of defensive coordinator in 2013.
Oklahoma State Running Backs Coach Marcus Arroyo has also recently been mentioned in connection to multiple positions including the head coaching job at San Jose State and Nevada.
