The fourth-ranked Oklahoma State wrestling team will travel to face No. 1 Penn State at 4 p.m. Sunday at Rec Hall for the NWCA Dual Meet Championship.
The match will be aired on the Big Ten Network.
The Cowboys (12-2) hold a 13-6-1 series lead over Penn State (15-0), including a 21-18 win last February in Stillwater. Penn State won the last meeting in Rec Hall, 23-12 on Feb. 16, 2014. The Nittany Lions edged the Cowboys for its sixth straight Southern Scuffle title with 183 points and OSU was second with 158.
The Cowboys have one more dual before traveling to University Park, Penn. They host North Carolina on Friday as they go for their 11th-consecutive win. The Cowboys two losses are to Iowa and North Carolina State. Those two teams will face off at Carver Hawkeye Arena.
OSU and PSU have one common opponent this season -- Stanford. The Nittany Lions beat the Cardinal, 31-12, in Palo Alton, Calif. while the Cowboys pitched a 41-0 shutout in Stillwater. Stanford recorded wins at 141, 165 and a forfeit at heavyweight.
