Cowgirls have won 20 games for the fifth straight season since Jim Littell took over as head coach.

Despite a last weeks bumpy road, Oklahoma State got back to normal as they defeated the Kansas Jayhawks inside Gallagher-Iba Arena, 71-49.

Senior All-American Brittney Martin and sophomore Kaylee Jensen led the Cowgirls in the first quarter with a combination of 16 points. Martin ended the game with 24 points, seven rebounds and four assists. She has become the first player in school history to record 1,700 points, 1,000 rebounds, 300 steals and 300 assists. In the first half, the Cowgirls defense held the Jayhawks offense to just nine points in the first and second quarter.

No. 22 Oklahoma State moves to 20-7 overall, 10-6 in Big 12 play and is tied for third place with West Virginia in the Big 12 standings. The Cowgirls head to Morgantown and play their final road game of the season on Saturday against West Virginia. Winner of that game will most likely be in third place.
