Vaughn, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound high school safety, will probably be slotted at linebacker with the Pokes due to his size. He recorded 101 tackles and seven sacks as a junior per 247Sports.
OSU was Vaughn's first offer back on January 24 but probably won't be his last regardless.
Maybe Vaughn decided to forgo some of the drama that can come along with the recruiting process.
Beyond blessed to have received my first offer from @OSUAthletics

Vaughn joins in-state offensive tackle Adrian Wolford and Texas safety Ty Thomas as the first three commits of the 2017 class.
