Los Angeles Laker and five time NBA champion Kobe Bryant gave Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen a pair of autographed shoes, calling Allen the 'best defender' he has ever faced.

Bryant gave Allen the shoes following a two game mini-series between the Lakers and the Grizzlies.

Allen, who graduated from Oklahoma State, played with the Cowboys from 2002-2004. The former Big 12 Player of the Year has played with the Memphis Grizzlies since 2010. Since then, Allen has been named to the NBA All-Defensive First-Team three times (2012-2013, 2015).
