Davon Dillard Allegedly Taken Off Team

Including Marcus Smart, Travis Ford has recruited five four-star players to come to Stillwater.

According to Kyle Boone at Pistols Firing, only three of them have stayed and one of those, is Joe Burton. In Boone's report, multiple sources have confirmed that forward Davon Dillard has been released from the basketball team.

Dillard has been in and out of the dog house this season for Travis Ford, serving a suspension just eight days ago for minor violation of team rules.

This leaves OSU with an even smaller number of scholarship players left available to finish the season, one that has been pretty bad since the beginning.
