Cowboys, Jelley, Finish First in Hayt Invitational
For the second time in three years, the Oklahoma State Cowboys have taken first place in the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational. Brendon Jelley also finished first in the event with a nine-under 207.
Jelley, a sophomore, shot a 69 on the last day to clinch his first place spot and win his first collegiate victory.
Two other Cowboys finished in the top 10. Senior Jordan Niebrugge placed fifth with a 215 performance and freshman Zach Bauchou tied for eighth at 218.
The Cowboys' next event is the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters in Las Vegas on March 7.
