It might be a little dusty but grab your brooms as Oklahoma State has swept the Bedlam series and won at Norman for the first time since 1998.
The Cowgirls defeated the Sooners after All-American Brittney Martin's shot went into the bucket with 12 seconds left on the clock. OU had a chance to win or tie it, but Oklahoma's Kaylon Williams missed her shot and the rest was history when sophomore Kaylee Jensen rebounded the shot with two seconds left to secure the victory.
The hot shooting continued for the Cowgirls as they shot 50 percent from the three-point line and 49 percent overall. Martin became the fourth player in program history to record at least 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in a career. Defense was also a big factor as the Cowgirls kept the Sooners from beyond the arc, only allowing the Sooners to shoot 4-of-17 from downtown.
This win helps the Cowgirls move to 17-4 overall, 7-3 in the Big 12 and now has broke the tie for third place in the Big 12 to get sole procession of third. OSU returns to Gallagher-Iba Arena on Sunday to take on Texas Tech at 1:00 p.m.
