Oklahoma State senior guard Brittney Martin has been named the Big 12 Player of the Year and head coach Jim Littell has won the Big 12 Coach of the Year.

Martin, who led the conference in scoring and rebounds, also won the Big 12 co-Defensive Player of the Year along with Texas' Imani Boyette. Martin is averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds per game this season; she has logged a double-double in seven of the past 10 games.

Littell led the Cowgirls to the fourth spot in the Big 12 and an 11-8 conference record. The Cowgirls are now 21-8 and have reached at least 20 wins for the fifth consecutive season under coach Littell.

The Cowgirls now look to take on the fifth-seeded Oklahoma Sooners in the Big 12 Tournament as the fourth seed; the Cowgirls swept the Sooners in both of their regular season meetings.
