All-American Brittney Martin will have the chance to be in the WNBA with the upcoming draft on Thursday night.
Martin is projected to be a third-round pick with the San Antonio Silver Stars, according to draftsite.com's mock draft. If Martin is drafted into the WNBA, she will be the fourth player in Cowgirl Basketball history to be drafted. Other former Cowgirl basketball players that were drafted into the WNBA were Andrea Riley, Toni Young and Tiffany Bias. The WNBA Draft will be highlighted by three-time All American, Breanna Stewart and other Connecicut players in the first round (no surprise).
