Cowgirls Add Transfer to Roster

Cowgirls add a talented forward to the roster

The Oklahoma State Cowgirls have signed Junior College transfer Shakila Small to a National Letter of Intent, as it was announced by Cowgirl head coach Jim Littell. Small is a native from Brooklyn, NY, and has experience playing at the JuCo level in the NJCAA National Tournament.

During Small's freshman season, she played basketball at Central Arizona College, but transfered to ASA College in New York. While at ASA College, she appeared in 20 games, had 12 starts and averaged 1.6 blocks and 1.5 steals per contest. Small attended high school at Medger Ever College Prep in Brooklyn and was ranked No. 34 at her position in ESPN HoopGurlz.
