Brad Underwood continues his successful offseason in Stillwater. He recently landed a huge commitment (literally) from Lucas N'Guessan, a seven-footer from The Netherlands.
Underwood has been referred to as the best hire for the 2016-17 season once already. You can read about that here. On Monday, Sporting News ranked Underwood as the best hire once again.
Mike DeCourcey of Sporting News wrote, "Underwood is an extremely capable coach taking over a program with significant potential — potential that lately has been mostly unrealized. Underwood knows the Big 12 from his days at Kansas State under Bob Huggins and Frank Martin and he knows the recruiting territory from his time at Stephen F. Austin. It will be a shock if OK State doesn’t become a factor in the league."
That's high praise for the new head man of the Cowboys. Jamie Dixon at TCU and Chris Beard at Texas Tech also earned an "A" grade.
It's safe to say the Big 12 won't be going anywhere next season.
