Oklahoma State will play Southeastern Louisiana, Central Michigan and Pittsburgh to open the 2016 football season at Boone Pickens Stadium, the school announced Wednesday.
The Cowboys, who went 10-3 (7-2 in Big 12) last season with a trip to the Sugar Bowl, open the season against Southeastern Louisiana with a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff on Sept. 3 on FSN. The two teams have never played each other, and the Cowboys haven't lost a season-opener since 1995 when they fell to national champion Nebraska.
Central Michigan visits the Cowboys at 11 a.m. Sept. 10 on FS1. The Cowboys defeated the Chippewas last season, 24-13, in Mount Pleasant, Mich.
The Cowboys non-conference schedule concludes against Pittsburgh at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 17 on ESPN. The Panthers 2015 season also ended in a loss as they fell 44-28 to Navy in the Military Bowl.
Kickoff times are not finalized for OSU's Big 12 games.
