Tyler Buffett is having himself a pretty nice week. After OSU pulled out a 1-0 shutout over UCSB in game 1 of the CWS, Buffett took the mound against Arizona and delivered a gem. He went 8 scoreless innings and gave up only three hits.

What people might not know is the Cowboy pitcher is somewhat close relatives with billionaire businessman, Warren Buffett. Eric Bailey of the Tulsa World asked Tyler Buffett about his relationship with the billionaire. In the interview, which can be seen here, Tyler Buffett admits that he had never met Warren, who is Tyler's grandfather’s first-cousin, but figured he’d meet him if they made it to Omaha.

Tyler Buffett described the evening as "casually hanging out, and just being with family. It was like any other family situation, just hanging out and telling stories."

Warren Buffett, now 85, was born in Omaha and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 2008, Warren Buffett was ranked as the world’s wealthiest man.
