The Pokes offered Taylor a scholarship back in February and Taylor made a visit to Stillwater back in May.
At 6-foot-3, 230-pounds, he’s got D-1 ready size and better yet the skills to compete early. Taylor compiled 116 tackles his junior year, to go along with three forced fumbles and two recovered fumbles.
Taylor currently holds 25 offers per 247Sports from the likes of Alabama, LSU, Michigan State, Oklahoma and Ole Miss.
It looks like Nick Saban and Co. have been turning up the heat. In an article by Chris Kirshner for SEC Country, Taylor was asked about Alabama's late push.
"I feel like they are pushing more now," Taylor said. "They are trying to get the No. 1 linebacker recruiting class."

Apparently, Taylor's mother is also going to be a big part of his decision. Per the same article, four schools have made contact with her: Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Georgia and Tennessee. Apparently, Alabama has not made it a priority, but maybe they should.
It sure looks like mom had a good time hanging with her son and defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer, per Tyler's twitter account (@tylertaylor8).
