2017 QB/LB Devodrick Johnson names OSU in his Top 10

247Sports

2017 quarterback/linebacker prospect Devodrick Johnson named Oklahoma State as one of his Top 10 schools.

The three-star dual-threat QB from Kimball HS (Dallas, TX), holds 17 offers and has narrowed his list down to Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, TCU, Arizona, Houston, Mississippi States, Missouri, Texas A&M, Illinois and Cal.

The Pokes offered Johnson back in May.

The designation "athlete" appears to be well-suited for the 6-foot-0.5, 200-pound Johnson. He can do it all.

Here are Johnson's 2015 numbers per 247Sports.

  • 990 passing yards / 12 passing touchdowns / five interceptions
  • 580 rushings yards / nine rushing touchdowns
  • 57 receiving yards / two receiving touchdowns

The Cowboys have a knack for making the most out of versatile prospects. It appears they may be looking at him for QB, but Glenn Spencer might have something to say about that, as well.

It appears some of the other favorites may be looking at Johnson at either linebacker or safety.
