Hatch and Walton Snag All-American Honors

The standout duo continues to bring in an impressive amount of recognitions.

Thomas Hatch and Donnie Walton have both been named 2016 All-Americans by Baseball America. This marks the 118th time in program history that we have received All-American honors.

Sophomore ace, Thomas Hatch, is the Big 12 Pitcher of the Year, and deservedly so. He has been reliable all season long with a 7-2 record and 2.16 ERA. In his last start, he blanked Nebraska, and struck out ten in seven innings. OSU will rely on Hatch's right arm if they plan to move further into the post-season.

Senior, Donnie Walton, is OSU's own Iron-man. He hasn't missed a game all season, and has been tearing up the batters box. He is hitting .350 with 3 home runs and 43 RBI's. Leading the team in RBI's and On-base percentage, Walton has often been the catalyst to our powerful offense.

In other baseball news, OSU faithful, you have a job to do. UNCW takes on the South Carolina Gamecocks today at 1pm CST. The Cowboys will play the winner of the matchup. If UNCW wins, Allie P. will be the host of the Super Regional. If USC wins, the Gamecocks will host. Start flapping your arms, because we are all UNCW Seahawks today!
