I recently caught up with Spencer Misko, a three-star 2017 commit. The 6-foot-5, 224-pound athlete from Keller HS (Keller, TX) appears to be slotted for Oklahoma State’s hybrid Cowboy Back position.
Thanks again to Spencer for sitting down and talking with me. Let’s begin.
Q: What did you like about the recruitment process?
A: “It has been a journey. The process taught me a lot, like how to be a proper athlete in the eyes of college coaches.”
Q: How did your recruitment with OSU compare to other schools?
A: “OSU showed a lot of love, I felt much closer to the coaches at OSU than I did anywhere else. Stillwater really has that family atmosphere that I love.”
Q: What all went into your decision to choose Oklahoma State?
A: “I grew up an OSU fan so I've been visiting Stillwater my whole life. My grandparents live an hour away from Stillwater and I've always wanted to be a Cowboy, it's truly a blessing.”
Q: What are you looking forward to in the transition from DE to TE?
A: “The position change doesn't scare me. I played a little TE in 7 on 7 when I was younger. I just want to help the team any way I can. I am definitely looking forward to scoring touchdowns.”
