Sophomore wide receiver Jalen McCleskey is the latest Cowboy to find himself on a nation award watch list.
The Paul Hornung Award is given to "the most versatile player in major college football".
Previous winners include Tavon Austin, Odell Beckham, Jr and Christian McCaffrey. Not too shabby.
As a true freshman, McCleskey contributed at wide receiver and punt returner, accounting for four touchdowns. With the departure of David Glidden, McCleskey seems destined for an increased role at the slot.
